Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine Marie, born September 9, 1987, in Philadelphia, is an American R&B and soul singer. Fearless the album she released her debut, was released in 2008 following the fact that she was born and raised in Philadelphia. The album topped Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The album was a success, spawning four songs that included "Need U Good", and "Bust Your Window", which both reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It was the first time Sullivan had a #1 single in the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Sullivan followed this with her second studio album, Love Me Back, in 2010, which was widely praised by the reviewers. After a gap of three years, Sullivan signed to RCA Records in 2015. The year 2015 saw the release of her debut album, Reality Show. This was her first number-one album to appear on the Top R&B Albums charts. In 2021, she released her highly acclaimed EP Heaux Tales which has the track "Pick up Your Feelings". Sullivan received two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award and three NAACP Image Awards. Time named her among their 100 Most Influential People in 2022.
